Police make multiple warrant arrests
A Chatham woman is facing charges of fraud and failing to comply with a release order.
At around 9 p.m. on Tuesday Chatham-Kent police were called to a business for reports of a woman acting suspiciously. Officers said that when they arrived they determined that the woman was a suspect in an ongoing fraud investigation.
The 38-year-old was transported from the business to police headquarters where officers discovered that she was also violating a court condition from another jurisdiction.
The woman was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Police located a man wanted in connection to a previous investigation overnight.
An officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg spotted the 33-year-old man at about 12 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Wallace Street.
The man was arrested on the strength of a warrant and held pending a bail hearing.

On Tuesday morning police arrested a 32-year-old woman wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The woman was found in the area of Park Street in Chatham.
She was held by police until she could appear before a judge for a bail hearing.

Chatham man arrested for violating bail conditions
A Chatham man is paying the price for not staying away from a female acquaintance.
Late Tuesday afternoon police saw the man, who was out on bail, associating with a woman he was prohibited from seeing. The interaction happened around 2:30 p.m. near Queen Street in Chatham, police said.
The 31-year-old man was arrested for the infraction and was held by police pending a bail hearing.
