Municipal offices close for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

If you have business at Windsor City Hall or any town hall, you might want to delay your visit until Tuesday. They shut down on Monday for the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

The City of Windsor said the 311 Customer Contact Centre will shut down to observe the statutory holiday, but those services are available online and through the Windsor 311 mobile app.

The 211 call centre remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Many other services are available. Residential garbage and recycling collection and night commercial pickup won't change.

The Public Drop-Off and Household Chemical Waste Depots will remain open, although administrative offices are closed.

Community and customer care centres in Windsor are open, but public library branches are closed on Monday, and Transit Windsor buses will operate on their regular weekday schedule.

Adventure Bay Familly Water Park shuts down on Monday, but the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre, Gino & Liz Marcus Community Pool, and the WFCU Community Pool are open.

Programming at the Homelessness and Housing Help Hub at the former Windsor Water World remains open to help those experiencing homelessness access services.
