The polls are open, and Ontario residents are invited to vote in the Ontario election.
The polls will remain open until 9 p.m.
If you haven't received your voter registration card in the mail, you can still vote. Elections Ontario says you need at least one piece of identification showing your name and address.
Any Ontario citizen who is over 18, is a Canadian citizen, and a resident of Ontario can cast a ballot.
Your voter registration card lists where to vote, but if you don't have one, you can find out where your polling station is on the Ontario Elections website.
You'll still need at least one piece of government identification even if you have your voter registration card. Acceptable identification includes a birth certificate, a marriage certificate, an Ontario health card, a Canadian Armed Forces ID, a Canadian passport, a citizenship card, a firearms license, or a NEXUS/FAST card. The poll will also accept a blood donor card, credit or debit card, a student card, or documentation from a Band Council in Ontario registered under the Indian Act.
