The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has cut the latest cheque to the City of Windsor for hosting Caesars Windsor.
The cheque, worth $2,983,227, is for the period from April 1 to June 30.
"OLG is a strong partner that provides substantial benefits to Windsor," said Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming Stan Cho. "In addition to creating jobs at Caesars Windsor, important investments in Windsor's public services are possible through the OLG's sharing of casino revenue."
Since 1994, the city has received $134,329,156.
The payments are based on a formula in the Municipality Contribution Agreement, which is applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario.
