Summary Tuesday Fed cattle sold on a strong active trade at steady prices. Choice strs & hfrs $174.00-$179.00 high of $191.00. Second cut $168.00-174.00. Cows sold on an active trade at steady prices. Thursday Veal calves sold at prices steady to slightly stronger than last week`s higher market. Lambs sold steady. Sheep sold on a good active trade. Goats sold steady to higher. Friday Choice calves sold steady to last week`s higher market. Second cut calves sold under pressure. Yearlings sold on a strong active trade at steady prices.

Steers

Rod Bren Farms of Wingham consigned twenty four cattle that averaged 1269 lbs and sold for an average price of 174.19. Three char strs averaged 1132 lbs and sold for an average price of 184.50.

Dwayne Dickert of Ayton consigned three black strs that averaged 1540 lbs and sold to Clark Bros. Livestock for an average price of 175.00.

Heifers

M & R Farms of Exeter consigned eight heifers that averaged 1471 lbs and sold for an average price of 176.00. One blue hfr weighed 1400 lbs and sold to St. Helen`s Meat Packers for 191.00.
