Two Conservative MPP's are critical of the provincial government's pollinator health proposals and the consultation process for those proposals.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson and Conservative Agriculture Critic Toby Barrett say the proposals seem to ignore advice the government has been getting from stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
Thompson argues the consultations are being held at a bad time for farmers struggling with a late harvest and in parts of the province that are hard for farmers to get to easily.
Barrett says while he feels we have governments to bring people together, the provincial government seems to be doing the opposite with the way it's handling this issue.
Thompson and Barrett made their comments at a media event today ahead of the public consultation session in London.
