OFA Climate Change Survey Results

More than 2,500 Ontario Federation of Agriculture members completed a short online survey in January about climate change.

More than 70% expressed concerns about climate change as it affects agriculture.  The largest worries include the frequency and severity of weather events and shifting weather patterns that impact growing seasons and crop yields, quality and cropping practices.

The OFA will be using the survey results to formulate a message to the government.

Survey results confirmed Ontario farmers are already making changes to their operations.
