Nuffield Scholarship Canada Chair Kelvin Meadows says the program enables recipients to be better farmers, business managers and leaders.
Three 15 thousand dollar scholarships are available for 2015.
They're looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for agriculture and a desire to expand their knowledge, pursue new ideas and to share their findings with others.
Applicant criteria includes being between the ages of 25 and 45 with a minimum of five years agricultural business or farming experience.
The money is to help the successful applicants travel internationally to explore agricultural issues and opportunities in a global context.
A key part of the program is the opportunity for winners to study a topic of interest to themselves throughout their travels.
Deadline for applications is April 30th.
