Two men linked to a major biofuels project in Southwestern Ontario have received international recognition.
Doctor Murray McLaughlin is Executive Director of Bioindustrial Innovation Canada.
The Sarnia-based organisation has been helping fund the BioAmber biosuccinic acid plant in Sarnia.
Jean-Francios Huc is the President and CEO of BioAmber.
The two have been named among the top 125 people in the Advanced Bioeconomy by the international industry publications Biofuels Digest.
The list recognized people from 15 different countries for their contribution to the global bioeconomy.
McLaughlin and Huc received their awards at a recent conference in Washington.
