Total Receipts 1491 cattle 1203 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a good active trade at steady prices. Choice strs and hfrs 193.00-198.00 sales to 206.50. Second cut 189.00-193.00. Cows sold steady. Thursday Veal sold on a strong active trade with beef calves $2-5 stronger while Holsteins were up $5-10. Lambs sold on a good active trade. Sheep sold fully steady. Goats sold steady. Friday Light weight & grass type cattle sold $5-10 higher and yearlings sold on a good demand at steady prices

Steers

Chris Smith of Brussels consigned 14 cattle that averaged 1691 lbs and sold for an average price of 198.81. One red steer weighed 1440 lbs and sold to Horizon Meat Packers for 206.50.

Elo B Weber of Mount Forest consigned 14 cattle that averaged 1367 lbs and sold for an average price of 188.75 One rwf steer weighed 1385 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for 195.00.

Heifers

Gerald Bross of Mildmay consigned 6 cattle that averaged 1554 lbs and sold for an average price of 191.25. One black heifer weighed 1415 lbs and sold to Clark Brothers Livestock for 196.00.

Donald Cormack of Mount Forest consigned 3 cattle that averaged 1540 lbs and sold for an average price of 189.70. One char heifer weighed 1490 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for 195.00
