OVC Breaks Top 5 In World Rankings

The Ontario Veterinary College is ranked fourth worldwide in a new global ranking of veterinary schools.

The QS ranking is based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.

OVC Dean Elizabeth Stone says the recognition by employers of the College's grads confirms the value of the University's learner-centred approach.

The top three veterinary schools in the world are the University of California-Davis, Cornell University and the University of London's Royal Veterinary College.

Those same rankings listed the University of Guelph's Ontario Agricultural College 23rd among agricultural schools worldwide.

That's up a spot from OAC's placement in last year's rankings.
