Chicken Farmers of Canada is back as National Sponsor of Canada Day in Ottawa.
It's the 23rd year CFC has been the event's National Sponsor.
CFC Executive Director Mike Dungate recently announced the sponsorship deal and the winning sandwich for the 23rd Great Canadian Chicken Barbecue on Canada Day.
Facebook voters chose 'The Preston Street Sandwich' as their recipe of choice.
It will be served at 'Chicken Corner' in Ottawa on Canada Day.
50 cents from the sale of each chicken item at that barbecue goes to the Ottawa Food Bank.
This Chicken Farmers of Canada event has raised over 300 thousand dollars for the food bank in the past 7 years.
