Teaching Kids Safety On The Farm

The Waterloo Rural Women's group is putting on a Children's Farm Safety Day tomorrow.

The event includes hands-on learning, activities and games - all designed to help kids stay safe on the farm.

Spokesperson Sharon Grose says they've been doing these Children's Farm Safety Days for 20 years now.

One of the things they emphasize throughout the day is that you live where you work as a farm family.

Grose says they've also found that what the kids learn in these sessions they tend to take home and share with the rest of their family.

There's still room for more kids in tomorrow's event - call 519-664-2327.
