The Ontario Veterinary College has a new dean.
Professor Jeff Wichtel takes over from outgoing dean Elizabeth Stone.
Wichtel comes to Guelph from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island.
He has degrees from Massey University in New Zealand , where he also taught.
Wichtel also taught in the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University.
His five-year term as OVC dean starts October 1st.
