Total Receipts 1624 cattle & 771 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold steady. Choice strs and hfrs 196.00 - 200.00 sales to 219.00. Second cut 192.00 - 196.00. Aged & medium fed strs and hfrs 185-190. Cows sold steady. Thursday Right weight Holstein calves sold $5-10 higher while all other weights and classes sold on a steady market. Lambs sold barely steady while sheep and goats sold steady. Friday Greener grass type cattle sold $3-$5 higher. Yearlings sold on a strong active trade at prices $2-$3 higher.

Steers Chris Smith of Brussels consigned 22 cattle that averaged 1605 lbs and sold for an average price of 208.23. One limo steer weighed 1540 lbs and sold to Cargill Meat Solutions for 219.00.

John Van Loo of Bluevale consigned 15 cattle that averaged 1543 lbs and sold for an average price of 197.73. One char steer weighed 1635 lbs and sold to Horizon Meat Packers for 204.00.

Heifers Noah Weppler of Ayton consigned 3 cattle that averaged 1595 lbs and sold for an average price of 190.51. One black heifer weighed 1505 lbs and sold to Bruno`s Meat Distributors for 199.00.

Southlore Farms Ltd of Palmerston consigned 12 cattle that averaged 1420 lbs and sold for an average price of 189.85. One gold heifer weighed 1525 lbs and sold to Horizon Meat Packers for 198.00.
