Thieves have made off with about 3 thousand dollars worth of pigs from a barn in Huron East.
The 69 pigs were about 25 to 30 pounds apiece.
The barn was on Krauter Line.
Police say the theft happened sometime between midnight last Sunday and 9 Monday morning.
The thieves appear to have gotten into that Huron East barn through an insecure back door.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
