Grey Volunteer One Of 4-H Ontario Outstanding New Club Leaders

4-H Ontario has named it's 2015 Outstanding New Club Leader Award winners.

And one of them is from Grey County.

Jackie Grant is described as someone who always shows up to meetings with fun things to do.

Grant also played a big role in Grey County's 100 Years of 4-H day as part of the committee and encouraging all members to take part in the day.

Only one of the awards was presented in each of the 4-H regions across the province.

Grant won for Region 5.

Among the other winners is Maureen McKerrall of the Chatham-Kent 4-H Association for Region 6.

She is recognised for her strong communication and organisational skills.

The Outstanding New 4-H Ontario Club Leader Awards recognize volunteers who have been leaders with 4-H Ontario for less than three years.

The awards are sponsored by Gay Lea Foods Co-operative.
