A former Cargill Vice President will be the new President and CEO of the Andersons.
Pat Bowe takes over from Mike Anderson on November 2. Anderson will remain as the company's Chairman of the Board. Bowe has more than 35 years of experience in the agricultural sector.
During his time at Cargill, Bowe held a variety of leadership positions at the company, both domestically and abroad.
The Andersons is involved in the grain, ethanol, plant nutrient and rail sectors in North America, including a part-ownership of Ontario's Thompsons Limited.
