Day 2 Results From IPM 2015 Plowing Competition

Seaforth's Paul Dodds slipped from first to fifth on the second day of competition in the Ontario Championship Tractor Class at the IPM.

Brian McGavin of Walton placed 4th yesterday.

Shawn Timbers of Port Perry is in first place.

In the Ontario Championship reversible plowing class, Tom Evans of Tiverton and Gerald Corbett of Exeter maintained their 1st and 2nd place standings.

Among the top-2 local finishers on the second day of the competition were:

John DeKroon of Dublin, Donald Roi of Shallow Lake, and Lucas Townsend of Blyth and Andrew Young of Cargill.

Shawn Ryan of Dashwood, Katie Davenport of Owen Sound and Jeff McGavin of Walton also had top-2 placings yesterday.

And the trio of Clayton Terpstra of Atwood, Anthony Bertrand of St. Marys and Erich Weber of Ayton had first-place finishes after yesterday's competition.

The plowing at the IPM is now half over - two days left - then the awards presentations on Friday night.

The 2015 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo wraps up Saturday in Finch in Eastern Ontario.
