Grain Farmers of Ontario says the TPP deal expands opportunities for grain exports to important and growing markets, particularly in Southeast Asia.
Chair Mark Brock says access to those important export countries through the deal is a great success for GFO's farmer-members.
But Brock says grain farmers continue to look for leadership from the federal government on business risk management.
GFO calls the financial commitment being made to the supply management sector to compensate for the impact of the TPP impressive.
The grain growers group says it's keen to see the same level of attention and commitment given to risk management for grain farmers.
