The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association is offering money to help set up farm safety training.
CASA partners with Farm Credit Canada to help pay for training projects under the FCC Ag Safety Fund.
It's for charitable and non-profit groups to help deliver agricultural safety training across Canada in a community setting.
FCC spokesperson Sophie Perrault says today's farm operations are larger and more complex than ever - and so are the hazards.
Local and provincial/territorial safety training projects are eligible for up to 5 thousand dollars in funding.
National projects could get up to 15 thousand.
Applications are being accepted until December 18th.
The application is done on-line through the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association's website.
