Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a selective demand at prices $1 lower. Choice strs and hfrs 159.00 – 162.00 sales to 164.50. Second cut 155.00 – 159.00. Cows sold on a selective demand at steady prices. Thursday Veal sold on a strong active trade with steady prices on all classes except heavy Hol Calves. Holsteins over 800 lbs traded $5- 10 higher. Lambs sold higher, goats sold steady and goats sold on a good active trade slightly lighter. Friday Calves and yearlings sold on a steady market. Steers

David Bowles of Brussels consigned 6 head that averaged 1430 lbs and sold for an average price of 160.94. One black steer weighed 1415 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for 164.50.

Earl Bennewies of Mitchell consigned 8 cattle that averaged 1323 lbs and sold for an average price of 155.94. One roan steer weighed 1395 lbs and sold Norwich Packers for 163.50. Heifers

Grant Hawkins consigned 7 heifers that averaged 1323 lbs and sold for an average price of 154.73. Two rwf heifers averaged 1245 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for an average price of 160.50

Southlore Farms Inc of Palmerston consigned 12 heifers that averaged 1288 lbs and sold for an average price of 159.00. Five red heifers averaged 1332 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for an average price of 160.25.
