Winter wheat in the spring.The USDA has issued it's last Crop Progress report for 2015.
It shows an improvement in the condition of the winter wheat crop - up 2 points at 55 per cent good to excellent.
That's still three points behind where it was a year ago.
The USDA says 93 per cent of that crop has now emerged, right on the five-year pace.
The department will be resuming it's weekly Crop Progress Reports in April of next year.
