Avian Influenza will be the major topic at Wednesday's Regional Poultry Producer Update in Brodhagen.
The updates are a partnership of the Ontario Poultry Industry Council and OMAFRA.
Spokesperson Laura Bowers says they try to use the updates to look at the current issues, new technology highlites and new trends facing the province's poultry industry.
The update runs from 10 a.m. to 4 in the afternoon - with most of the afternoon taken up by a panel discussion about Avian Influenza.
Bowers says that discussion will include how to prevent the disease coming onto a farm and also looking at a number of 'what-if' scenarios around any possible A-I outbreaks in the province.
Advance registration through the OPIC website is 50 dollars.
It's 60 dollars at the door.
Wednesday's Regional Poultry Producer Update is being held at the Brodhagen Community Centre.
