Total Receipts 1796 cattle & 203 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a strong active trade at prices $4 - 5 higher. Choice strs and hfrs 162.00 – 167.00 sales to 171.50. Second cut 159.00 – 162.00. Cows sold on a strong demand at prices $4 – 5 higher. Thursday Veal calves sold on a steady market. Lambs and goats sold steady while sheep sold higher. Friday Calves sold on a strong active trade at higher prices and yearlings sold $5-$10 higher.

Steers

James Gingrich of Drayton consigned 16 steers that averaged 1576 lbs and sold for an average price of 167.47. One red steer weighed 1495 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for 169.00.

Enos F Bauman of St Clements consigned 17 steers that averaged 1270 lbs and sold for an average price of 165.09. Seven rwf steers averaged 1305 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for an average price of 167.00.

Heifers

K/C McAlpine Farms of Ailsa Craig consigned 9 cattle that averaged 1633 lbs and sold for an average price of 164.57. One limo heifer weighed 1605 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for 171.50.

Martin Metske of Lucknow consigned 12 heifers that averaged 1557 lbs and sold for an average price of 165.25. Seven black heifers averaged 1567 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for an average price of 165.25.

Cows There were 150 cows on offer
