CanWest DHI's Herd Management Score and Awards are going national.
The program allocates points in 6 different management areas and is used as a barometer of overall herd performance.
It's been used in Ontario and Western Canada for years.
For 2015, it will also include Quebec and the Maritime provinces.
DHI General Manager Neil Petreny says it will provide producers with the chance to see how they compare amongst herds across Canada.
The DHI Herd Management Score is provided in February, based on the previous calendar year's performance.
