GBFW Focus Shifts To Goats

By Ray Baynton

January 8, 2016 - 8:47am

It's Goat Day today at Grey Bruce Farmers Week.

What started out as an evening program has become a big draw for the event, bringing in attendees from well beyond the Grey-Bruce boundaries.

Jennifer Haley of Ontario Goat will update farmers on the activities and issues of her organisation.

New Zealand's Doctor Gosia Zobel will be making two presentations - including one on kid rearing.

Today's panel topic is the future of the goat industry.

Grey Bruce Farmers Week runs through to January 12th at the Elmwood Community Centre.
