Draft Provincial Pollinator Health Plan Up For Feedback

The provincial government is looking for public feedback on it's draft pollinator health action plan.

The plan is being put together to deal with a number of key issues.

That includes habitat and nutrition - diseases , pests and genetics - and climate change and weather.

It will also address pesticide exposure.

Agriculture Minister Jeff Leal says they're hoping to create more discussion and encourage greater cooperation to improve pollinator health in the province.

The proposed plan has been posted on the Environmental Registry.

It will be open for public comment until March 7th.
