The Ontario Federation of Agriculture wants to know what municipal level impediments there are to the growth of the province's agri-food sector.
The Federation is looking to hear from farmers and the entire agri-food sector what municipal impediments they're facing.
In some cases, the federation suggests municipalities themselves have their hands tied with some piece of legislation the provincial government requires them to implement.
The OFA Member Service Representative for Huron & Perth - Margaret VIncent - is gathering examples of those impediments.
That information will be presented at the Ontario Federation of Agriculture's first 2016 Policy Advisory Council meeting on February 4th.
The OFA says this is part of it's efforts to help the sector meet the Premier's challenge to double it's annual growth and create 120 thousand jobs by the year 2020.
