GFO Weekly Commentary Script:
My name is Natalie Walt and I am a participant in Grain Farmers of Ontario’s Grains in Action this year. I grew up on a dairy and crop farm in the beautiful prince Edward county. I currently work in Agribusiness in Guelph , I stay closely connected to my roots and frequently return home to help. I'm currently actively involved with Wellington federation of Agriculture and Wellington soil and crop association.
Grains in Action took place from Monday, February 1 to Thursday, February 4. It is a program for young agriculture leaders to gain knowledge about the grain value chain, meet industry contacts and build relationships with like-minded people. This conference allows participants to learn about the demand for and end uses of crops. To keep up-to-date on what is happening this week follow #GrainsInAction on Twitter.
