Farm Credit Canada's AgriSpirit Fund is looking for applicants.
The fund helps registered charities and non profit groups in rural Canada with their community improvement initiatives.
The grants range from 5 to 25 thousand dollars.
They can cover a wide range of projects, ranging from buying equipment for emergency services and recreation centres to building care homes and playgrounds.
The FCC AgriSpirit Fund was established in 2004.
Since then, it has contributed to nearly 950 capital projects totalling 9 point 5 million dollars in donations.
The deadline for this year's applications is April 18th.
