OPA 2016 Board Includes Perth, Grey Representatives

Representatives from Perth and Grey County are on the 2016 board of the Ontario Plowmen's Association.

Sheila Marshall is with the Perth Plowmen's Association, Carl Weber is with the Grey Normanby Plowmen's Association.

Don Priest of Simcoe County was elected OPA president for 2016.

His Vice-Presidents are David Murray of Haldimand and Melvin Switzer of Wentworth.

Representatives for the upcoming International Plowing Match and Rural Expos also made presentations at the OPA's recent annual meeting in Guelph.

Wellington highlited what's coming up this September near Harriston, Huron reps outlined plans for the 2017 match and Chatham-Kent highlites were presented for the 2018 event.

West Nipissing was named the host of the 2019 IPM.

The Ontario Plowmen's Association also honoured a number of people at their annual meeting, including retired Advisory Councillor Robert Miller of the Grey Bentinck Plowmen's Association.
