The condition of the U-S winter wheat crop slipped a bit last week.
It's gone from 59 per cent good to excellent the previous week to 56 per cent last week - a three point drop.
It's still 14 points better than at this time last year.
The USDA reports 4 per cent of the U-S corn crop has been planted.
That's right on the five year average for this time of the year.
And 13 per cent of the U-S spring wheat crop has been planted - 3 points ahead of the five year average.
