The Stratford Perth Museum Agriculture Wall of Fame has three new inductees for 2016.
The inductions of David Carson of Listowel and John and Mary McIntosh of Avonbank were celebrated at the recent Stratford Rotary Club Rural-Urban night.
Carson began his agricultural operations in the 1960's.
While a supplier of cattle to some of the largest dairy operations in the world, he's perhaps best-known as a Clydesdale horse breeder.
Carson is also a supporter of 4-H programs, the Listowel Agricultural Society and the Listowel Hospital.
Mary and John McIntosh have a combined wealth of community involvement in rural, agricultural and community organisations - past and present.
That includ
es involvement in Perth 4-H programs and Junior Farmers.
Mary is a past chair of the Ontario Agriculture Hall of Fame while John has chaired different committees at three International Plowing Matches hosted by Perth County.
The McIntosh's were also the recipients of the 2015 Perth County Federation of Agriculture Recognition Award.
This is the third year for the Stratford Perth Museum Agriculture Wall of Fame.
The wall recognizes contributions made to agriculture and the communities of Perth County.
