83 per cent of the soybeans are planted - 6 points ahead of both the five year average and where it was at this time last year.
72 per cent of the soybeans are good to excellent - 3 points ahead of last year.
The U-S winter wheat harvest has started - barely - with 2 per cent of the crop taken off so far.
That's 8 points behind the five year average.
It's rated 62 per cent good to excellent - down one point from last week, 19 points better than last year.
And the U-S spring wheat crop condition remains unchanged from last week at 79 per cent good to excellent, 10 points ahead of a year ago.
