The USDA reports the condition of the American corn, soybean and spring wheat crops are holding pretty steady.
Corn is 76 per cent good to excellent, soybeans 71 per cent and spring wheat 70 per cent.
That's up a point for both corn and soybeans, down 2 points for spring wheat.
The department has 66 per cent of the winter wheat crop harvested - one point ahead of the five year average and 4 points ahead of where it was a year ago.
