Total Receipts 1824 cattle & 619 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a good active trade at steady prices. Choice strs and hfrs 150.00 – 154.00 sales to 169.50 Second cut 145.00 – 150.00. Cows sold on a steady trade. Thursday Holstein calves sold on a steady market with beef calves selling on a very strong trade at higher prices. Lambs, sheep and goats all sold barely steady. Friday Calves and yearlings sold on an active trade at prices $3-5 higher. Steers

Larry Reinhart Sr of Mildmay consigned 10 steers that averaged 1447 lbs and sold for an average price of 153.98. One limo steer weighed 1450 lbs and sold to Mecca-Halal Meat Inc for 160.00.

John Van Loo of Bluevale consigned 4 steers that averaged 1686 lbs and sold for an average price of 155.50. Three char steers averaged 1690 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for an average price of 156.00

Heifers

Southlore Farms Inc of Palmerston consigned 13 cattle that averaged 1527 lbs and sold for an average price of 153.74. One red heifer weighed 1515 lbs and sold to Bruno’s Meat Distributors for 169.50

Andy Vanderveen of Blyth consigned 7 heifers that averaged 1295 lbs and sold for an average price of 161.58. One char heifer weighed 1265 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for 164.50.
