Total Receipts 1378 cattle & 533 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a selective demand at slightly easier prices. Choice strs and hfrs 148.00 – 153.00 sales to 157.00 Second cut 143.00 – 148.00. Cows sold easier. Thursday Holstein calves sold steady to the week’s decline with beef calves selling steady. Lambs sold steady, sheep sold slightly higher and goats sold on a good active trade. Friday Calves and yearlings sold on an active trade at steady prices. Steers

Aaron & Jason Coultes of Wingham consigned 7 cattle that averaged 1487 lbs and sold for an average price of 151.76. Three black steers averaged 1407 lbs and sold to Cargill Meat Solutions for an average price of 157.00.

Dwayne Dickert of Ayton consigned 3 cattle that averaged 1452 lbs and sold for an average price of 150.04. Two grey steers averaged 1598 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for an average price of 155.50

Heifers

Dave Golley of Wingham consigned 16 heifers that averaged 1101 lbs and sold for an average price of 144.45. One blue heifer weighed 1155 lbs and sold to Butch Clare Livestock for 156.00

George Hinz of Monkton consigned 7 heifers that averaged 1376 lbs and sold for an average price of 151.38. One sim heifer weighed 1405 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for 154.50.
