Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold steady. Choice strs and hfrs 147.00 – 151.00. Second cut 142.00 – 147.00. Cows sold steady. Thursday Veal sold on a good active trade at prices $ 2 -5 higher. Lambs, sheep and goats sold steady. Friday Calves and yearlings sold on a strong active trade at steady prices. Steers

David Bowles of Brussels consigned 10 cattle that averaged 1349 lbs and sold for an average price of 148.43. One black steer weighed 1400 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for 150.50.

Amsey S Bauman of Newton consigned 16 steers that averaged 1609 lbs and sold for an average price of 147.39. One char steer weighed 1600 lbs and sold to Bruno’s Meat Distributors for 150.00
