GFO: Awards For Bottom Line Subscribers

Grain Farmers of Ontario is recognizing the hard work and long hours put in by our farmer- members during the harvest season. Three farmers are being chosen at random from subscribers to the Bottom Line for our thank a grain farmer contest. Last week, Steve McCabe, manager of member relations, visited the farm of our second winner who lives in District 11.

The farmer-member wishes to remain anonymous. They were awarded with dinner and Grain Farmers of Ontario camp chairs.

Be sure to sign up for the Bottom Line at gfo.ca or find the link on twitter, for a chance to win. As well, Grain Farmers of Ontario’s public outreach events are still in full swing. Grain Farmers of Ontario will be at the Gourmet Food and Wine show from November 17 – 20 with the Growing Connections trailer in partnership with Collingwood Whiskey. This is an opportunity to educate urban audiences on the many uses of Ontario grains and grain farming. Directors and staff will be available to answer questions. If you plan to attend, be sure to stop by the trailer.
