Jan Slomp has been re-elected President of the National Farmers Union.
The vote took place during the NFU's 47th Annual National Convention in Saskatoon.
The Union believes farmers may produce many different products, but they must work together to advance the industry.
The Courtenay, BC native remains head of the seven-person leadership group, three of which are from Ontario.
The NFU is the only farm organization in Canada to be incorporated as an act of Parliament.
