While many farmers here and in the U.S. experienced record wheat yields this year, so did producers in Argentina.
The Argentine Agriculture Ministry estimates the current harvest will hit 15.7 million tonnes.
That marks a 39 per cent increase on the last growing season.
The increased use of fertilizers is credited for the massive gain.
Argentine wheat exports are also set to greatly increase in the near future as it's lowered dollar makes the grain more competitive in the international market.
