OMAFRA Recognizing Agri-food Innovators

$425,000 in prizes are being offered by OMAFRA for agri-food innovation.

The ministry says the awards for its Agri-food Innovation Excellence program recognizes and supports the hard work and dedication of local businesses and individuals who add value to existing products.

Applications are being accepted via www.omafra.gov.on.ca until April 28th.

Two panels consisting of agri-food industry stakeholders from around the province will review all applications.

They'll award 50 different prizes ranging from the $5,000 Provincial Awards to the $75,000 Premier's Award.
