Nomination forms are now available for the “Food & Farming Champion” Award.
It is presented to individuals, organizations or businesses who have taken the initiative to help engage consumers about agriculture in our province.
Nominees have used their skills to help inform consumers or correct misinformation about production practices, and done a measurable job of promoting our industry.
Nominations are due March 21 and a selection committee will choose a winner.
It's open to any who have taken an active role in getting the message out about agriculture.
Past award winners include Listowel-area turkey farmer Bre nt Royce who was recognized with the "Food & Farming Champion" Award in 2015.
