Developing 4-H educational content

The Federal government is partnering with the government of Ontario to invest $1.4-million dollars to develop educational content with 4-H.

The Ontario branch of 4-H will receive $700,000 each of the next two years to support the province's next agri-food leaders.

Youth members will learn about career in agriculture, and agri-food businesses, while developing skills training that builds communities.

Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Marie-Claude Bibeau, says "The Ontario 4-H Council is a leader of today and tomorrow in its passion for sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.

The key objective in the educational model is learning through experience, which is encompassed in 4-H Canada's motto of "Learn to Do by Doing".
