The Wallaceburg Lakers fell 5-3 to the Dresden Jr. Kings Sunday night.
Dresden took a 2-0 lead in the first period and were able to stay ahead of Wallaceburg with a score of 3-1 going into the third. In the final 20 minutes, the Lakers scored two more goals to put them one away from tying the game. However, the Jr. Kings scored once more to seal their victory.
In other Junior C action, the Blenheim Blades needed a shootout to get by the Lakeshore Canadiens 5-4. Matt Clark scored the shootout winner.
While the Amherstburg Admirals edged the Wheatley Sharks 6-5. Mark Gangnon led the Admirals with a hat trick.
