Local health units have issued the third cold weather alert of the year.
It was issued by the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and will remain in effect until Wednesday.
The alert comes into effect tonight when temperatures are expected to dip down to -17 C (1 F).
The alert extends into tomorrow night where, with the windchill, temperatures will feel like -25 C (-13 F).
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
