The Chatham Kinettes are going to be out with free scarves and toques today.
Over 100 Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs across Canada are marking the third National Kindess Day.
Chatham Kinette President Nan Stuckey says they'll be at Taylor and Kingston parks this afternoon.
"We just want people to know that we're hear and we support a lot of other charities in the community, but because it's so cold, we though we would pass out scarves and hats and things that just sort of keep us warm in these cold winter days," says Stuckey. "A little kindness helps any of us during our days, or weeks or months, but it's also about passing it on; doing something for other people that you don't expecting anything in return for."
Stuckey adds if anyone is interested in learning more about the Kinettes, call 519-350-0724.
