Plowing Match Site Coming Together

The committee organizing the 2018 International Plowing Match in Chatham-Kent has just about finalized the site.

Chatham-Kent Plowmen's Association President Rob Sterling says it will be just east of Pain Court, bordered by Creek Line, Pain Court Line and Winter line and Bear Line roads.

"Our site is coming together. We have some farmers who have signed off on the land leases so they have legally agreed to take part and we have more of that on-going over the next few months," he says. "It means we won't have to worry about bringing people from their cars down the road to the site. We are looking at parking right across from tented city; everything all centralized."

The group is now starting to put together its organizational, publicity and souvenirs committees.
