The Chatham man charged with uttering threats and hoax - terrorist activity has been granted bail and will now seek help.
David Osterbrook, 49, is being taken to Brentwood Recovery Home in Windsor. He'll need to seek legal aid ahead of his next court appearance on May 29, but his family just wants to get through the day.
A family member of Osterbrook says she'll "breathe a whole lot easier once he's at Brentwood." She adds Osterbrook "doesn't belong in jail, he's an alcoholic with mental health issues."
Osterbrook was arrested last weekend after a call was made to the Library of Parliament in Ottawa, threatening to blow it up.
